Do I need to install anything on my iPhone or my computer? No, MintFly.com is completely web based. You access MintFly.com through your mobile browser. All record viewing and editing is done there. It’s just like Salesforce.com where all you need is a browser. In this case, it’s just an iPhone or other mobile device browser.
How are upgrades handled? We are a subscription business, so we have a vested interest in continuing the development of our products. All enhancements to our software are available to all customers automatically. Upgrades occur just as easily and automatically as Salesforce.com. We will notify you before any upgrade and all down-time will be restricted to weekend evenings to minimize impact on customers.
What versions of Salesforce.com are able to use MintFly.com? We support Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited edition organizations. Most organizations are in this classification. If you are using anything else from the AppExchange, chances are you should be able to use MintFly.com as well.
How is my data kept up-to-date? All data viewed or edited in isfdc.com is communicated directly with Salesforce.com through a partner connection. Every record and field is completely live, meaning when you update a record on your MintFly.com account, you can open the exact same record in Salesforce.com and see the same information.
How secure is my data? All communication from your mobile device to the MintFly.com server is encrypted with the same encryption standard as used by online banking, SSL. All communication between the MintFly.com server and your Salesforce.com instance is handled in the same way.
Can you customize MintFly.com for us? We leverage the full breadth of the Salesforce.com API’s (Force.com). You can actually create custom objects, fields, and processes all within Salesforce.com. MintFly.com is just a mobile representation of that system. So, we may be able to do customization, but we expect that you can create all the custom functionality imagined through the Force.com platform.
Is any of my data stored on MintFly.com server? We remember your user name to validate your subscription but none of your customer data, passwords, or any sensitive information is ever stored on our servers. The data is passed along to you the instant it is requested and then immediately forgotten for security purposes.
Do I need to use my token like Outlook? Salesforce.com employs network based security to guard your data. Only trusted networks or computers are allowed to login. Users can use their token if they wish or you can allow everyone in your organization to login to MintFly with only their password by following these instruction on how to trust our IP address.
Do I have to enter my password every time? No, just follow these instructions on how to bookmark your login and you will only need a bookmark.
